In 1909, the Majestic, converted out of the old Igleheart Mill, is torn down. A new larger theater is erected and called the New Majestic.

Purchased by the Loew's chain <1965 which is added to the name.

The theater finally closed in 1973. The building was torn down in 1974, and the site is now a city garage. http://local.evpl.org/views/viewimage.asp?ID=1006233 http://local.evpl.org/views/viewimage.asp?ID=710631
