Clearview Sanitarium opened in 1941 in the old Zeidler house at the corner of Kratzville Rd opened 1941 remodeled home building at rear remodeled into studio and rec center for patients

new addition 1943 planned finally opened jun 10 1945

Clearview closed feb 1970 dwindling numbers dec 1970 buena vista day care center later halfway house despite opposition second chance halfway house closed 1992 bought by goodwill shelter for homeless families the original house was demolished c1990 and the section built specifically for the hospital is still standing
