centenary ME me church of saundersville 1854 met in old schoolhouse Ingle School near ingle cemetery (now ridge view heights) founded 1868 built 1867 on old state rd on land donated by John Ingle named after 100 years of methodism in america church remodeled 1909 1938 major addition including basement and classrooms razed aug 1963 new stone one built in 1880 and 1899 atlas cemetery 1913 in IR in blue grass circuit 1939 becomes centenary methodist (dropped ME) 1955 educational building completed/dedicated parsonage built 1959 aug 5 1963 tore down old church met in educational building until new church completed 1964 In 1968, the merger of the Methodist Church and the Evangelical United Brethren Church was formalized. and ME churches renamed UMC united methodist church http://local.evpl.org/views/viewimage.asp?ID=911947 http://www.centenaryevansville.com http://www.centenaryevansville.com/multipage.php?id=574&
