View is looking northwest from the Helfrich Lumber Yards approximately where the bowling alley now stands. St Boniface and the old school are clearly visible in the center. The two larger houses at right were on the corner of Michigan and Ninth. The Peerless Tank & Seat Co (now Plumbers Supply) is at the far right
