The Bob Hamilton Golf Course now sits on a portion of the former farm. grew up on North Fares Avenue in Evansville across from what is now Atlas Van Lines. A few blocks west of his boyhood home is Little Pigeon Creek that ran through a part of the Vanderburgh County Poor Farm. Some of it was on land that is now Hamilton Golf Course. The rest is barns and apartments
