Once the interchange at Fulton and the Lloyd got the green light, the building met its fate. The Orr Building was too close to the intersection and plans called for demolition. The lintel over the door and cornerstone were removed to be reused in the clocktower? at USI. It was razed overnight on June 24, 2008
