george koch tin shop founded 1873 c1872 1014 (now 2112) w penn originally tin cookware and cistern covers diversified into stone venting, gutters and roofs sons took over when george died in 1903 1904 renamed George koch sons in his honor bought machine shop equipment and by 1930s involved into ac and industrial ovens [1922] geo koch sons expanded to 2124 longer building

newer building at 10 S 11th Ave built c1940s rounded sides northeast corner
