Located behind old City Hall on 3rd first built 1868 steam fire co no 2 rebuilt 1887 same time as city hall, renamed hose house no 1 1888 because of its central location http://local.evpl.org/views/viewimage.asp?ID=912615 moved 1971 to new building on 8th St and gum 15 and 6 had moved farther east and a gap in coverage for south side razed same time as city hall
