Comments

Bayard Park Methodist was organized in 1910 when members of Trinity Methodist started new parish in the expanding east side. IR says 1908

An addition was built to north (school) 1917

Church joined with the dwindling 4th St ME Church.

Delayed by the war, construction on the new site on outer Lincoln began. The church sold building November 14, 1947 to Church of Nazarene, to be occupied on January 1950. The congregation finally moved when the new church was complete and was renamed Methodist Temple.

bayard park church of the nazarene occupied the building from 1950 until 1977 moved from unitarian church 7th and walnut also called first church of the nazarene (moved to 8100 newburgh rd)
