Weather alone is holding up Dixie B work
The concrete approaches and abutments for a bridge over Pigeon Creek in the new route of the Dixie B north are in position as the above photo made the past week shows. Awaiting favorable weather conditions the steel of the bridge will be placed and with the completing of the short stretches of concrete from the now finished portion will open the Dixie B from Evansville to within 8 miles of Princeton. The new road parallels the C & EI RR north as the approaching train above shows
