Rookery block as it appears now (March 1929)

Building remodeling has transformed the age old Rookery corner at 4th and Sycamore into to modern banking institutions. The Lincoln Savings bank (foreground) and the Welfare Finance Co headquarters (adjoining) have helped 4th St earn the title "Bankers' Row"
