Contrasts of the years
Third and Main St, while not the busy corner it is today, was a well patronized intersection. The Cleveland Life building in the left foreground and the People's Bank building were the highest structures on the northwestern side of this thoroughfare. One will note the absence of several of the present day big buildings which brighten Evansville's skyline.
