Looking south between 3rd and 2nd. In foreground is east side of the 200 block of main st, seen from the corner of 3rd and main. Schmitz building at then 209 still remains (minus top 2 stories). This picture, taken c1889, shows Main Street still unpaved and was used in the EVPL eBooks - Evansville, Indiana 1812-1962
