Evansville's first aviation meet, June 9, 10, 11, 1911, at the Tri-State Fair Grounds on Kentucky Avenue from Madison Avenue to Ravenswood. In this picture, in front of the packed grandstand are planes flown by Lincoln Beachey (left) and C. C. Whitmer (right).
