Comments

built in 1895 for Herman Rusche on the land he had purchased a year earlier from one of his employers August Rosenberger. Rusche was an engineer with the southwestern broom company than was located a block to the east on ninth ave the semicircular arch of the recessed porch is an arresting detail of the old Rusche home and is probably original, but the concrete porch railing and projecting roof may be early, 20th cent additions
