History

1841 developers of lamasco gave the new congregation three lots organized jan 17 1841 1847 little which church built dedicated jan 1841 as german evangelical lutheran protestant congregation of lamasco and vicinity ill between 3rd and 4th ave forerunner for the present tirnity luth, oldest german protestant church

school built 1843 cemetery established mission church hornville area

trinity nickname 1850s (differentiate from emauel

present church is built 1871

>1895 <1910 wing added to east of building (left) and >1910 <1962 wing added to west (right)

broke ground for new school and parish hall oct 23 1955 cost $250000 new school and gym were built in 1956 at corner illinois and 3rd and wrapped around the rear of the church At 1000 w illinois, it replaced the old school down the street
