Comments

Ambitious plans for the construction of a big theater on the site began in 1920 and in 1921 construction began. Financial troubles halted the theater's construction in 1922 and the site sat idle for 15 years Steel was standing for years and rusted but was eventually torn down because of the risk to walkers along the street

Around 1930 the site was proposed for the Ambassador Theater and office building but the Great Depression saw that plans never materialized.
In 1937 Greyhound bought the Cadick site to build a bus station. The new station incorporated the (already-built) rounded foundation into its design
